Alex is the Offshore Syndicate Claims Manager at the Shipowners’ Club, where he has worked for 15 years in various roles, including four years as their Head of FD&D. He has sat on various industry drafting committees, including Bargehire 2021, and acted as the Co-ordinator for the 2024 UKSCT revision panel. Alex also chaired the International Group’s Education Committee for 6 years, until 2024, and is a big proponent of the Group’s P&I Qualification.
